Ah, music. How I used to hate you.
For a long time, I couldn’t stand it. As a child, I was only exposed to the music my dad listened to in the car. It wasn’t until I was 16 that I finally decided to branch out and explore different types of music. At first, I stuck to mainstream EDM and Pop songs like Viva La Vida and Titanium. However, I never really ventured into other genres. That all changed when I discovered Spotify.
That is, until I found out about Spotify. You gotta understand, back in 2016, Spotify wasn’t officially out in India. I had to go looking for the modded application to even use it. But oh my, it really was this huge change. The recommendations (daily mix, recommendations at the end of a playlist) all just helped me branch out.
But that all changed when the Fire Nation attacked pandemic struck.
I was hooked onto Astroworld. And to this date, I think it is still my most played album. Well, seems like Mr Morale and the Big Steppers have replaced it, but back then it was my most played album.
Anyways, Astroworld got me into hip-hop and R&B. And that’s where my music journey is at right now.
Now, the reason I made this page was to just put down the Top 5 songs I like and keep updating it as time passes.
